49ers fans are very excited about no penalty, which showed Seahawks DB Johnathan Abrams tugging at Deebo Samuel’s leg after a tackle.
Samuel was furious in his quest for a flag and there was even a small skirmish between the two teams before cooler heads prevailed.
Here’s what people on Twitter had to say about the no-call:
“Of course it was Jonathan Abrams,” said Matt Miller.
One user replied, “Pathetic move by Jonathan Abrams.”
“Jonathan Abrams. The bomb,” tweeted Kent Swanson.
Micheal Renz of Raiders Reports commented, “Dirty play by Jonathan Abrams there.”
Matt Miyoko of NBCS Bay Area reported, “Debo Samuel and the 49ers are not happy with Seattle DB Johnathan Abrams, who twisted Samuel’s ankle at the end of that play.”
“It’s 2023 and Jonathan Abrams is still being stupid for starting a fight.”
The Seahawks find themselves down 23–17, with the fourth quarter fast approaching.
