Aaron Donald isn’t going anywhere.
Some pundits have speculated whether Donald will retire after the 2022 season, but he has no interest in doing so. He confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday night that he would play next season.
This is big news for the Los Angeles Rams as they had a nightmare season. They finished with a 5–12 record, good for third in the NFC West.
The news also comes just days after head coach Sean McVay confirmed he would be returning for the 2023 season. There was speculation that he too might move on, but that was put to rest.
Donald had another strong season this year. He totaled 49 tackles (27 solo), five sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and two passes defended.
He would improve on those numbers and help lead the Rams back to the playoffs the following season.
