A few weeks ago it looked as if Ed Reed would be the next former NFL star to lead a college football program.
Unfortunately, this will not happen. On Saturday morning, Reed announced that he and the school could not come to an agreement on a contract.
Reid coached the team for just over a month prior to today’s announcement. Naturally, the news had a few things on the minds of football fans.
The football world absolutely could not believe the strange saga between Reid and the school.
“what a mess,” one fan simply said,
Another fan said, “BCU threw the bag on this one. Scared of the hard work and commitment Ed Reid knows all about.”
“Good for him tbh. He didn’t do anything wrong, just pointed out what Deion said in an unprofessional way,” added a third.
Should the school have given Reed what he wanted?
