Brittany Mahomes is all aboard the Chad Henne bandwagon.
Patrick Mahomes’ ankle sprain opened the door for veteran Henne to get significant playing time in the first half of Saturday’s Jaguars-Chiefs game.
Henne delivered, leading Kansas City on a 98-yard touchdown drive just before the end of the half.
Britney’s message to Hene on Twitter is now going viral.
“Hey thing is possible,” Britney said.
Football fans are loving Britney’s show of solidarity in Kansas City.
“That’s great,” said Joey Swallow. “See Patrick helping him on the sidelines and celebrating his drive and then you tweeting support for Henne! Selfless and caring more about the team that is lacking in today’s games! Good to see that.” Looks like it. Hope Patrick is okay and recovers fast!”
“We have the best quarterback and our Patrick and Brittany are quality, caring guys. We are very fortunate to have them in Kansas City. They invest a lot in not only our heads but our KC current,” Jan Parker Wrote
“Husband hurts and says it publicly. Not to mention her community service work in Kansas City. I won’t take any slander on that,” Joy Helmer wrote.
The good news is that Patrick Mahomes is now back in the game, although he has been battling a high ankle sprain.
Hopefully we get some more cool tweets from Britney before the game ends.
