Matt Roday took a clear shot at Colorado’s Deion Sanders as both coaches finish their tenures with their new teams.
During a recent appearance “busin’ with the boyspodcast, Rowley explained that their first team meeting was Without Cameras included. Everything they say at Nebraska is about the players.
I had my first team meeting last night. I’m one of those people, I don’t let cameras in, no camera will follow me. i want it to last forever [about] players.
The Nebraska coach shared his mission statement for his coaches and players as he seeks to turn around the struggling program:
Be a lion every day, attack everything in your life. Actually that’s how I see it. Our core values are that we want to be tough, we want to work hard, and we want to be competitive.
Raul’s comments should serve as some good bulletin board material for Buffalo when the two schools meet Sept. 9 in Boulder.
