The Michigan football program is currently under investigation by the NCAA.
In the investigation, the program has been accused of recruiting practice violations. The charges included one Level I violation and several Level II violations against head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The Level II violations include allegations that the program practiced with too many coaches on the field and contacted two high school recruits during the COVID-19 dead period.
Joel Klatt has seen these allegations and does not agree with them. He discussed why he disagreed with her during a recent episode on his podcast.
“What? Wait wait wait, what? So, number one, let me get this straight: The NCAA still exists? Well, that’s news to a lot of us,” clat said ,first written by saturday tradition, “Based on what’s happening in the intercollegiate realm, the NCAA is going to go ahead and thankfully keep those kids from getting a text message? A five-person burger during a Covid-dead period.” ?
The investigation almost prompted Harbaugh to quit the program, but he instead announced that he would stay after he had had a chance to talk to a couple of NFL teams.
We have to see whether the school is fined after the completion of the probe.
