Only two days away from a broken leg, Cowboys running back Tony Pollard is well on his way to recovery.
according to ESPN Todd Archer: The 25-year-old Pro Bowler had surgery on an injury sustained in the Cowboys’ Divisional Round playoff loss at San Francisco. Adding to that Pollard, “should be at full strength well before training camp” and “is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March.”
The NFL world reacted to Tuesday’s update on social media.
A fan replied, “Yasir is recovering fast.”
“Tony Pollard leads the Cowboys in rushing – the first player besides Ezekiel Elliott to do so since 2016. Expects franchise tag if no deal is reached before deadline,” commented colleague Ed Vedder. .
“TP is the RB1 in Dallas…even with this injury. JERRY…pay this guy!!”
“Great news,” said another. “I wish TP a speedy recovery.”
Another user tweeted, “Man really hope he’s back at 100% wherever he is. Not nice to see him hurt like that.”
Here’s hoping Pollard is back in 2023 and better than ever.
