NFL World took to Twitter to respond to the news of Rice’s involvement.
One fan wrote, “This is known to Broncos fans, but if you want Peyton it’s probably a good sign.” lets go.”
“The NFL Media Goes a Day Without Calling a War Criminal Cool [IMPOSSIBLE],” Said another.
“It’s only good because it’s one of the reasons I hate the Broncos even more. What a shameful organization,” said another.
Another wrote, “Got to hand it to him. This is what I want to do in retirement. NCAA football selection committee, Augusta member and now this. Basically just a sports advisor.”
There are seven known candidates for the Broncos’ head coaching vacancy: Sean Payton, Jim Caldwell, David Shaw, Ejiro Avro, Rahim Morris, Dameko Ryan and Dan Quinn.
