Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage left Monday night’s game against the Cowboys in a stretcher. He was then taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Moments earlier, the Buccaneers provided an update on Gage’s health.
“After suffering a neck injury and concussion during the fourth quarter of last night’s game, Russell was taken to a local hospital where he remained overnight for additional testing and observation.” read the team statement, “Russell is regaining movement in all limbs and will continue to undergo additional testing today. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.”
NFL fans rejoice that Gage has speed in all of his limbs. That being said, they are still waiting for more good news.
One fan said, “Great news to hear he is regaining movement in all limbs. Prayers continue for Russell Gage.”
“Glad he’s ok,” tweeted another fan. “That hit was scary.”
A third fan wrote, “This is cool. Last night it looked a little creepy.”
Gage just finished his first season with the Buccaneers.
We are wishing Gage a full and speedy recovery.
