Former NFL running back Peyton Hillis has been released from the hospital.
He was in critical condition for the last two weeks after saving his two children from drowning.
Hillis has made a full recovery after an extended stay in the intensive care unit, according to the NFL. Insider Dov Kleiman.
Hillis, 37, had saved her children in a swimming incident in Florida a few weeks ago. His lungs and kidneys were damaged during the rescue and he was taken to the hospital.
“All I can say is that God has been so good to us!!” Hayley Davis said in a Facebook update on Friday. “Peyton got released from the hospital today!” She said that her health “has all improved – truly a miracle!!”
We are happy to see that Hillis is on the road to a full recovery.
