There are calls for an investigation into former United States President Donald Trump and his ties to LIV Golf.
Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) is calling on the Department of Justice and Congress to investigate the “disturbing facts and circumstances” surrounding the 45th President of the United States and LIV Golf.
Trump’s golf course has hosted some of LIV Golf’s tournaments. The investigation wants that this should be looked into.
“Donald Trump needs to investigate payments he received for hosting the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf Tour at his resorts,” an organization founded by supporters of slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi reports in the Kansas City Star.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.
“So … the owners of dozens of golf resorts can’t host golf tournaments?” one fan thought.
“I mean, oh. Now we know that Kushner passed on secret information for that $2 billion. If it wasn’t for the Russia-backed president, which we certainly know now, he might not even have a security clearance.” Could have. And all are Republicans still spewing their lies every day,” said one fan.
“How is this breaking news? Isn’t it known that the Saudis own LIV and Trump has played in clubs?” A fan has been added.
LIV Golf, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for its 2023 season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Trump get even more involved.
